30 Songs Shortlisted for GCMA Song of the Year

30 SONGS SHORTLISTED FOR SONG OF THE YEAR AT THE 2025 GOLD COAST MUSIC AWARDS 

The countdown is officially on for the 2025 Gold Coast Music Awards, and the competition for Song of the Year is hotter than ever. The GCMA Judging Panel had the impossible task of selecting this year’s finalists from a standout pool of nominations, from indie rock to hip hop, rap, country, pop, heavy rock, electronica and everything in between.

30 tracks have been shortlisted for Song of the Year at the 2025 Gold Coast Music Awards. Each of these songs stood out for their creativity, craftsmanship and impact, showing just how diverse and exciting the Gold Coast music scene truly is.

Finalists across each of the Gold Coast Music Awards’ 11 categories will be revealed on Tuesday 7 October ahead of the 2025 Gold Coast Music Awards on Thursday 27 November, 2025 at HOTA, where the winners will be crowned in a spectacular Awards Ceremony and live concert.
