Local Artists Set to Light Up BIGSOUND 2025

As BIGSOUND 2025 approaches, the national spotlight once again shines on one of the biggest events in the Australian music industry calendar, set to take over Fortitude Valley from 2–5 September.

This year, Gold Coast artists are coming in loud, with a powerful lineup repping our shining region. Our corner of the country is delivering a wildly diverse selection of artists destined to make waves on the national and global stage.

Here’s a closer look at some of the local talent representing our region at Australia’s biggest music industry showcase. 

 

Birren

Bundjalung artist Birren blends ocean-inspired rhythms with a heartfelt, rootsy sound grounded in his upbringing in Fingal Head. With a soothing voice and grooves that transport audiences to saltwater daydreams, Birren’s music offers a space to connect, move, and reflect. His latest single “Summer” is a feel-good soundtrack for long days and golden hours.

Briana Dinsdale 

Timeless twang with a modern soul, that’s the magic of Briana Dinsdale. Hailing from neighbouring Logan, Briana was named a 2025 Toyota Star Maker finalist and is fast becoming one of the most exciting voices in contemporary country. She’s already got a top 10 national country radio hit (Real Time Love) under her belt and has graced the stages of Gympie Muster and Groundwater. With her rich songwriting and commanding presence, Briana is poised to impress on the BIGSOUND stage.

Chloe Styler 

Named Breakout Artist of the Year at the 2024 Gold Coast Music Awards, Chloe Styler is no stranger to the big stage. From The Bluebird Café to CMA Fest and Suncorp Stadium, she’s captivated audiences with her raw storytelling and irresistible pop hooks. With over 600k streams, a slew of accolades, and a magnetic live energy, Chloe continues to prove she’s not just breaking out, she’s blazing her own trail.

Eliza & The Delusionals

One of the Gold Coast’s most celebrated exports, Eliza & The Delusionals have grown from local darlings into an international force. With a catalogue boasting hits like Just Exist (which topped SiriusXM AltNation), high-profile collabs with Butch Vig and Sarah Aarons, and tours alongside Silversun Pickups, this indie pop-rock powerhouse continues to climb. Expect emotion, energy, and a set to remember.

Lyric

At just 21, darling of the Gold Coast music scene, Lyric is building a movement. With sold-out shows across Australia and the UK (some in under two hours), Spilt Milk billing alongside Kendrick Lamar, and a viral presence across TikTok and streaming platforms, she’s a pop powerhouse in the making. Her blend of songwriting vulnerability and production polish is propelling her to stardom and BIGSOUND is just the beginning.

Nate G

Gold Coast hip-hop is in safe hands with Nate G. After commanding attention on triple j’s Bars of Steel and receiving national airplay across the board, Nate has gone on to headline shows and light up stages at Splendour in the Grass and Laneway. Known for sharp lyricism and an undeniable stage presence, he’s one of the region’s most important rising voices. Also known as a member of well-loved local hip-hop outfit ECB, we’re excited to see what’s next for Nate G.
