After last year’s unforgettable first year, the Gold Coast’s ultimate pop-up music fest is making its grand return to the streets of Southport on Saturday 26 July, promising even bigger beats, fresh art, and good times for all.
Sundown, presented by City of Gold Coast, cemented its place as a highlight on the local gig calendar last May, transforming Southport’s Nerang Street into a buzzing celebration of homegrown artists and laidback festival vibes.
This year, the lineup is locked, loaded and ready to blow you away with a stacked bill that champions some of the best Aussie artists on the scene.
From 3pm, get ready for back-to-back sets with indie rock favourites Teenage Dads and DICE headlining alongside Betty Taylor, Brave Daisy, Lara Estel, Nicka35, Pia Pressure, Vices, and Vlads.
And when you’re not front and centre for the bands, hit up the new DJ laneway, catch SMALLS in action as he brings a laneway wall to life with his mural art, or refuel with bites and bevvies from the likes of Carafe Wines, Young Henry’s, and Miami Booze Traders.
The best part? Sundown is free, all-ages and totally ticketless – just show up and get ready to make some memories under the winter sun.
When the music ends, Southport’s OG live music venues are right around the corner ready to keep the good times rolling well into the night.
