Get set for a high-voltage night out at Bleach Festival’s Drum As You Are – a euphoric, family-friendly celebration of live music. Think beating drums, big riffs, driving backbeats, and singalongs that’ll linger long after the final encore.
Head down for an unmissable mass-drum performance created by local musicians Michael McCartney and Troy Wright, as 22 drummers – professionals and community players alike – come together for an epic homage to Nirvana’s iconic 1992 gig at Fisherman’s Wharf, with special guest Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon) making an appearance.
Then kick-on into the night with a stacked lineup of Aussie talent, with live music curated by Gold Coast Music Network. Featuring headliners The Vanns alongside local acts Ella Fence, Ferny Fairway, and Friends That Spin (DJ), and host Tania Doko (Bachelor Girl), expect big energy, contagious vibes and a crowd that won’t stop moving.
Drum As You Are is a full-throttle nod to the past with both feet planted firmly in the future, a reminder that the spirit of rock is alive and kicking, reignited by a new generation.
