Welcome to the Gold Coast Music Awards 2023 People’s Choice Voting

Voting terms and conditions

By participating (voting) in the 2023 Gold Coast Music Awards x Burleigh Brewing People’s Choice Award, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

Number of votes permitted

One vote per person is permitted, provided that each vote complies with these Terms and Conditions.

Only one vote will be counted per IP address.

If votes appear to be falsified or ‘bought’ in any way, they will not be considered as a legitimate vote.

General
  1. The 2023 Gold Coast Music Awards ‘People’s Choice’ Award is conducted by Gold Coast Music Network.
  2. Voting commences on Monday 14  August 2023 and closes at 12.00am on Sunday 27 August 2023. Gold Coast Music Network reserves the right to amend the competition dates at any time.
  3. Voting is open to all Gold Coast Music Award finalists and the general public.
  4. If you have any questions regarding voting please email hello@gcmusicnetwork.com.au
  5. We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time.
  6. The winner will be chosen by a cumulative total of highest number of votes from:
    1. All votes received and verified by Gold Coast Music Network, as a result of a popular vote conducted through the Gold Coast Music Network website between Monday 14 August 2023 and Sunday 27 August 2023.
    2. All votes received and verified by Gold Coast Music Network, as a result of popular vote for three artists named as People’s Choice Finalists, conducted in person with tokens, at the Gold Coast Music Awards event Thursday 31 August 2023.
  7. The winner will be announced at the Gold Coast Music Awards ceremony Thursday 31 August 2023.
  8. Voters’ personal information will be kept confidential and will not be provided to third parties without prior consent, however by voting in the competition, the voter gives the Gold Coast Music Network permission to use the information provided to develop quantitative data about the awards for use in marketing and promotional materials.
Voter’s Prize

The first valid vote randomly drawn from the public online voting conducted between 14-27 August will win a Gold Coast Music Awards x Burleigh Brewing VIP prize pack, valued at $500.

Winners will be notified by phone or email on Monday 28 August 2023.

Voter prize includes:

  • 2 x tickets for the 2023 Gold Coast Music Awards to be held at HOTA on Thursday 31 August
  • $500 gift pack from Burleigh Brewing
