2025 Gold Coast Music Awards nominations now open!

Following a record-breaking attendance at the 2024 Gold Coast Music Awards, our 10th anniversary celebration, today the Gold Coast Music Network officially opens nominations for the 11th Gold Coast Music Awards taking place on Thursday 27 November, 2025 at HOTA, Home of the Arts.

The 2025 Gold Coast Music Awards welcome nominations across ten diverse categories:

  • Artist of the year
  • Breakout Artist of the year
  • Live Act of the year
  • Musician (instrumentalist / vocalist) of the year
  • Release (album / EP) of the year
  • Song of the year
  • Studio Producer of the year
  • Venue of the year
  • Video of the year
  • Visual Creative of the year

To be eligible for consideration, musicians must have released, performed, or demonstrated activity in their respective categories between April 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025.

Nominations are open from now until Monday 14 July. Nominations are only accepted from an artist themselves or a person representing the artist such as a manager, publicist or agent of some kind.

Each and every nomination will be judged by a panel of experts from diverse fields including promoters, producers, songwriters, musicians, venue managers, booking agents, music directors and more, and the spotlight will shine on the outstanding finalists when they are announced on October 9.
