Music Industry Mingle: Access All Areas

Join us for our first Music Industry Mingle for 2025! Access All Areas – Accessibility in the Music Industry is a powerful panel discussion exploring accessibility in the music industry – both onstage and behind the scenes.

This important conversation brings together a diverse panel of artists, industry professionals, and advocates with lived experience to shine a light on the challenges faced by disabled, and neurodivergent people consuming and creating music – and the progress being made to create a more inclusive and equitable industry.

This event will bring together a panel of industry professionals for an in-depth discussion and Q&A, followed by live music and mingling. The panel includes:

  • Marlena Katene (Music journalist and Author)
  • Hannah Jeffers (Musician and Jeffers Psychology)
  • Amanda Gorman (Gold Coast Music Network and Distractd)
  • Emma-June Curik (Creative Producer and Accessibility Advocate)
  • Facilitated by Den Devine Sessions’ podcast host Joseph Brown

The panel will be recorded live for Den Devine Sessions podcast, and you can tune in using Den Devine’s silent disco tech to listen to the panel discussion and live music performances.

Whether you’re an artist, promoter, venue operator, creative, or music fan, this event is a chance to listen, learn, and contribute to a more accessible future for the music community.

What to expect:
– Insightful conversation and real stories from the industry
– Practical advice on improving access and inclusion
– Interactive Q&A with our panel
– A chance to connect and network with others passionate about positive change

Stick around after the panel for a relaxed networking session and live music from Tegan Clark.
